The physical tool of Pavement Project is the Big Green Bag, used by trained Christian workers to help street children recognise God's love and care for themselves.
- The main aim is to raise the self-worth of the child and restore a sense of hope for the future.
- This is done through stories of other street children who have been helped by PP, and through Bible stories of God's care.
- The Big Green Bags are divided into sections of interactive picture cards, games and activities, all designed especially for traumatised, low-literacy children.
- A trained street worker uses the Big Green Bag to go through a carefully planned therapeutic process with an individual child.
